Attempting to review the year…

I’m still havering over whether to continue in Red, move to a Baroque (personal or pocket), to Holborn in wine or back to Indie... I’ll let you all know in the New Year what I’ve decided to do!

Regardless of what I’ll be using as an organiser next year, I thought I should review how this year went and how my various projects had progressed (or not).

Well, with all the swapping and shifting about in the year, that was harder than anticipated! So far this year I have used:

Month
Binder
Planning System
January
Personal filofax: Baroque
Month to view pages
Monthly planner pages
Weekly planner pages
WO2P + DPP

Personal filofax: Cavendish
Monthly planner pages
Weekly planner pages
WO2P + DPP

February, March, April
Pocket filofax: Aston
Monthly planner pages
Weekly planner pages
WO2P + 2PPD

May
Pocket filofax: Aston
Monthly planner pages
Week + notes
Scraps of paper to plan each day

June, July
Personal filofax: Holborn,
Monthly planner pages
Week + notes
No daily planning

August
Personal filofax: Baroque
Monthly planner pages
Week + notes
No daily planning

September, October, November
Mulberry Agenda: “Indie”
Month to view pages (briefly and unsuccessfully!)
Monthly planner pages
Week + notes
DPP

December
Mulberry Agenda: “Red”
Monthly planner pages
Week + notes
DPP

As you can see, what a combination! The system itself hasn’t changed hugely – there is always a monthly plan with varying formats of weekly plan/diary + notes and varying planning of the day. The month to view is utterly hopeless for me – I can never get it to work. I either have too much detail or not enough. WO2P plus DPP seems to be the best combination for me.

At least I know the system to use in 2013. Now I just need to settle on a binder!
